THEY CAN SEE AGAIN




CAPIO came to the aid of four prison inmates who were battling with severe sight problems. The CAPIO medical team was on hand to provide free consultations and prescriptions.  Medicated glasses were issued to them according to their needs.



CAPIO’s efforts to meet the health needs of the prisoners in Nigeria are in recognition of the fact that Prisoners are human beings who retain their dignity and right to health.

Prison staff rejoiced enormously when a borehole in the facility finally produced good water.  some of them actually danced with joy.

CAPIO is currently carrying out a water project at Oji-River prison which would provide a daily supply of 500 gallons of water. This prison facility has three borehole which no longer function, causing serious water scarcity.  CAPIO recognized a need which,if not address could lead to very serious health issues. Below are some pictures.
