CAPIO came to the aid of four
prison inmates who were battling with severe sight problems. The CAPIO medical
team was on hand to provide free consultations and prescriptions. Medicated glasses were issued to them
according to their needs.
CAPIO’s efforts to meet the health needs of
the prisoners in Nigeria are in recognition of the fact that Prisoners are
human beings who retain their dignity and right to health.
